WHAT WE DO
We celebrate the Jewish Holy Days and Shabbat in a family friendly way. Our congregation currently has approximately 40 plus families providing for wonderful participation for our services. Our Congregants especially look forward to the Latke Challenge, Shabbat Shira, and our “Chai”, guest speaker series throughout the year.
WHY YOU SHOULD BE WITH US
If you want to be part of an active, fun, family-oriented and down to earth congregation, then BSVT is for you. Please come and join us (in-person or online) for services, activities or parties and see for yourself.
OUR MEMBERS
Many of our members are Jewish by birth and who were raised Orthodox, Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist, or Secular. Some of our members are also Jews by choice or part of an interfaith family or Jewish adjacent. Our common thread is that we are all interested in furthering our spiritual life, singing, Jewish education and community participation. We invite you to join us at a service or one of our activities or call us at 905.428.2580
WHERE WE ARE
When we meet in person, we hold services at St. Paul’s United Church in Ajax and have a wonderful relationship with them. For those that have concerns about meeting in a church, our Rabbi has consecrated the places we meet. It is merely a wonderful welcoming rental space for us to share and celebrate Reform Judaism. For more information on joining our Zoom Services, please send an email to bsvtajax@gmail.com. You will get a reply within a week.
