The Durham Multi-Faith organization is holding its annual Prayer for Peace Service and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Each year there is a theme and the different religions in the Durham region present their thoughts on the topic.
It is always an excellent opportunity to get together and see how much more similar we are than different.
The Durham Multifaith Community 8th Annual Prayer for Peace Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 2:00 pm at All Saints’ Anglican Church, 300 Dundas Street West in Whitby.
The theme is “Think Globally, Act Locally”. B’Nai Shalom v’Tikvah will be representing the Jewish faith. Come for this quick service to see a variety of faith groups sharing their prayers.
